Claimed (Poem)
Claimed
Claimed
Your hands as they hold mine
Your smile as it crosses your lips
Your breath as it stalls when you stand
Claimed
Your voice as it calls my name
Your laugh as it circles my brain
Your arms as they encase my waist
Claimed
By the ring on your hand
By the tone when you speak
By the stance you take when I am near
By the stance you take when I am near
Claimed
Your look as it seeks me in a room
Your swagger when you pull me close
Your presence in a public space
Claimed
All those things make me claimed
Claimed as your possession
Claimed in your words
Claimed in your world
Claimed in my mind
